Dear Friends,

As Rhode Island’s most trusted name in suicide prevention, The Samaritans depends on our Annual Fall Gala event for critical funding to support our suicide prevention, grief support and community education programs.

During this evening, we will host more than 200 guests from across Rhode Island who will help us break the stigma associated with suicide prevention and grief support for those who have lost a loved one or friend to suicide.

Please remember, one hundred percent (100%) of all funding to The Samaritans of RI supports our local nonprofit organization. Our board members and volunteers are comprised of local residents and students who live, work, study and volunteer in our state.

Did you attend our 35th Anniversary celebration last fall? If yes, then you will be happy to know we are welcoming back Unclaimed Freight, featuring our own Meredith Hampton, vocalist along with the seven fantastic members of this exciting band! We didn’t stop dancing at last year’s event and expect more of the same this year.

Please don’t miss this special opportunity to support The Samaritans of Rhode Island while enjoying a wonderful evening!

I look forward to seeing you on September 28th!

Rui P. Alves, Esq.
Board President
